ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

What is BRUSH RESTORER?

Derivan Brush Restorer has been designed to replace dangerous, butyl-based cleaners with a powerful safe and plant-based alternative. It can remove dried, built-up paint from brushes without the use of harsh chemicals and dangerous fumes. Derivan Brush Restorer contains natural solvents and vegetable-derived detergents which are not hazardous to humans, animals or the ecosystem. It is free rinsing and will not corrode brush ferrules. It is also greywater and septic tank safe, and completely biodegradable without effluent treatment processes.

HOW TO USE BRUSH RESTORER

Sometimes, we don't correctly clean our brushes at the end of a painting session. And when this happens, the paint or varnish can dry and make your brushes tough to use. Brush Restorer solves this by breaking down dried paints and bringing life back to your brush.

Get your damaged brushes and get the brush cleaner. Don't dilute it, and leave the brushes soaking in it for at least 100% strength for a few hours.

Every few hours, check to see if the paint is lifting from the bristles. Suppose the brushes are still a bit stiff. Put on disposable gloves, work the bristles again and put them back into the Brush restorer. Repeat this process until all of the paint is out of the brush.

The beauty of the Derivan Brush restorer is that it will not hurt the bristles, whether synthetic or made from hair. So if you have an artist brush with dried paint in it, revive it with Derivan Brush restorer.

CAUTION
Avoid contact with skin eyes. Rinse with water if this occurs. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after handling.
