Peter Griffen
My main subject matter is the landscape, exclusively when in the studio, it is the Australian landscape. I am particularly inspired by Central Australia, the desert and The Kimberley. When I travel I take my easel and acrylic paints with me and paint en plein air wherever I go. It could be the Flinders Ranges or the south of France ,on the Seine in Paris, London, Wales, from a sky scraper in New York or on a boat off the coast of LA.
